Summer Camp Programs

Fun-Filled Camps with Crazy Themed Days, Theater Games, Outdoor Time and Lots of Laughs!

The Arts Alive! professional staff and experienced counselors will lead kids through games, improv, stage makeup, dance, creative movement, voice, mask making, stage combat and theatre craft and design! This is a chance for kids to work on their individual performance skills in a fun, safe, supportive, encouraging environment.
All Camp weeks conclude with an end-of-week performance for families. Performances are either held at St. John’s Church (in the field or in the main hall), or at the Barrington Public Library Salem Auditorium.

$325 per week*
*Early Bird Special prior to 4/1/25

2025 Camp Weeks

Week 1: 7/7-7/11- “WICKED Part 1”
Travel to the magical land of Oz before Dorothy arrives! Discover the untold story of Elphaba and Glinda as we bring the first act of Wicked to life with show-stopping songs and dazzling choreography. Will you defy gravity?  

Week 2: 7/14-7/18- “MATILDA”
Rebellion never sounded so good! Join Matilda and her fellow revolting children as they take on the terrifying Trunchbull in this high-energy musical packed with humor, heart, and unforgettable tunes. Just remember—sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty! 

Week 3: 7/21-7/25- “WICKED Part 2”
The story continues! In this thrilling second act of Wicked, dive deeper into Elphaba and Glinda’s fates as they navigate love, betrayal, and the power of standing up for what’s right. Get ready to unleash your inner green girl and fly!  

Week 4: 7/28-8/1- “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”
Can you spell F-U-N? Step into the hilarious world of  quirky middle schoolers competing for the ultimate spelling championship! This witty, heartwarming musical is packed with improvisation, audience participation, and unforgettable characters.

Week 5: 8/4-8/8- “Greatest Showman”
Step right up and join the circus! Inspired by the hit movie, this musical camp celebrates the power of dreams, acceptance, and show-stopping performances. With epic anthems like “This Is Me”, it’s time to shine under the big top!  

Week 6: 8/11-8/15- “Beetlejuice”
It’s showtime! Dive into the spooky, hilarious, and totally outrageous world of Beetlejuice, where the afterlife is full of surprises. With ghostly fun, larger-than-life characters, and high-energy songs, this camp will be a scream!

Refund Policy

While we are confident that your experience with Arts Alive summer camp will be a positive one, we have outlined our refund policy below. All refund requests must be made in writing and submitted via email.

If a registered student wishes to withdraw from a Summer Camp Program:

  • A full refund, minus a $30 processing fee will be given if the student withdraws, more than 72 hours prior to the start of camp
  • A 50% refund will be given for withdrawal within 72 hours of the start of camp. However, should we be able to fill the vacant spot with a wait listed student, a full refund minus a $30 processing fee will be given.
  • No refunds will be given once camp has begun.
  • Withdrawals due to Covid-19 related issues will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
