Summer Camp Intern/ Counselor Application

Thank you for your interest becoming an Arts Alive Summer Camp intern.

Please complete the below application for consideration by no later than Monday, April 15th. No applications will be considered after this time.

PLEASE NOTE: All Interns/ Counselors will be required to attend a MANDATORY training prior to the start of camp. (Date TBD. Typically 1-3 weeks before camp starts.  FAILURE TO DO SO, WILL MAKE YOU INELIGIBLE TO WORK WITH ARTS ALIVE! DURING SUMMER CAMP.

Camp Counselors (Volunteer)– This volunteer position is for high school student and returning College students. Applicants must have taken part in Arts Alive productions and previous experience as a Jr Counselor and/or Camp Counselor is a requirement. Volunteer Camp Counselors are unpaid but may use the hours for community service. Please note in your application if you are willing to work 1 week as a volunteer.

Camp Counselors (Paid)– This position is for high school students Sophomore-Senior and returning College students. Applicants must have taken part in Arts Alive productions and previous experience as a Jr Counselor and/or Camp Counselor is a requirement. Camp Counselors are paid a modest stipend for their work.


Head Counselor (Paid) – This position is for High School Seniors or returning College students. Applicants must have previous experience with Arts Alive, with an ability to lead both counselors, and campers. Head counselor works with the director. This is a paid position.


Please note: We are limited in the amount of interns/ counselors we can hire. Applicants will be selected based on leadership qualities, outgoing inclusive personality, and the ability to problem-solve and think on your feet. We receive many applications from qualified students each year. With that, we may not be able to offer positions to all who apply and/or the number of weeks offered may be limited based on staffing needs.
